Terms of service
Who we are
Party Moose Games LLC is a Delaware limited liability company based in Watertown, Massachusetts ("we", "us"). By installing or playing BattlePucks (the "Game") or using partymoosegames.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
Your account
The Game uses a Unity Player Account to sign you in. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for what happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and play. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. The Game, its art, code, names and characters belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, sell, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute any part of it, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms.
Virtual items and purchases
Gold, gems, chests, tokens, pucks, passes and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") are a limited licence to use features of the Game. They are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the Game. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their refund rules apply. Except where the law requires it, purchases are final. We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items as part of running the Game.
Fair play
You agree not to cheat, use bots, exploit bugs, tamper with the client or its network traffic, harass other players, or use a name that is offensive or impersonates someone else. We may warn, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and we may remove Virtual Items gained through cheating.
Player content
Player names, chat messages, guild names and replays you create may be seen by other players. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display and store it to run the Game. Do not post anything illegal, hateful or that you do not have the right to share.
Availability and changes
The Game is an online service. We may update it, change features, run events, and take it offline for maintenance. We may also stop offering the Game entirely. If we do, we will give reasonable notice inside the Game or on this website where we can.
Disclaimers and liability
The Game is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from it. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Consumer protection rules that apply where you live still apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and for significant changes we will tell you inside the Game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
